About us

Our story began in 2016 when Jackie and I were looking for a new house. We found a property with a beautiful Live Oak Tree in the yard. Months later as the house was being built I proposed to Jackie under the tree while listening to Latin music blasting in the background from the builders working on the house. The following year we said our vows under the same tree and now the tree is the logo for our great restaurant.

At Crooked Oak Tavern we specialize in farm to table food. When available we will be using hormone-free beef, pork and chicken, locally raised produce that will change as is available during the growing seasons, and sustainable fish from local waters (no farm raised fish or seafood). Our goal is to provide fresh local food that will not be full of hormones and pesticides. Recipes are a unique blend passed down through our family to you and given a bit of a modern twist. We want our guests to leave feeling like they had a home cooked meal mixing in New England, Pennsylvania Dutch, Maryland Seafood and Southern cooking.

If you're in the doghouse with your SO, have no fear Crooked Oak Tavern is here. Bring your significant other in for cocktails and dinner and all will be forgiven . Seriously good food, excellent service and the atmosphere will put smiles on faces.

We went to Crooked Oak today to celebrate my birthday, and had the most amazing lunch ! Every time we’ve been, we’ve always had great service, but today it was extra special. Ricco went above and beyond to make our lunch outstanding. He really made my day. I brought my family from out of town into the restaurant and they were so impressed!!! Awesome food , awesome service , awesome experience. Thank you so so much. !!!
